Unit B (Gallery) is an artist-run exhibition space located
in Pilsen, a near south side neighborhood located minutes from downtown
Chicago. Established in May 2002 in the live/work space of
artist and director, Kimberly Aubuchon, Unit B is entirely funded and
functioned by exhibiting artists, curators, and a volunteer gallery staff.
Unit B will showcase and promote new and emerging contemporary artists and
curators from Chicago and around the globe in group exhibitions that include
2-D, 3-D, performance, video, film and new media that engage, excite and challenge
our guests, as well as provide insight into the creative process and dialogue
in an intimate domestic setting.
At this year's Stray Show, Unit B will feature works on paper by 11 artists from
Chicago and around the globe and a conceptual collaborative effort by Matt Irie
and Dominick Talvacchio.
