Mule's curatorial process for Stray 2004 uncovered mutual interests in “space” amongst
the chosen artists and their work. We became interested in
how these pieces successfully worked together to combine diverse
representations of one’s understanding of interior and exterior personal
spaces and experiences. Our desire is to show work that we believe to be
important and entertaining, thus we chose pieces that were at once beautiful
and disjunctive, humorous and disturbing. We are very excited to participate
again in The Stray Show, and we are confident that fellow artists will
enjoy
the exhibited work.
William O'Brien's piece "Subliminal Transcribing" (see images
shown) will be
installed this year in the Mule booth at Stray.
